Armenia Invalidates Results at Two Polling Stations, Sends Materials to Prosecutor

The Central Election Commission of Armenia at an extraordinary meeting on June 11 addressed decisions N 8-A and N 10-A of the respective district electoral commissions N 10 and N 35 of June 11, 2026, concerning violations recorded on voting day in the logs of precinct electoral commissions of the regular parliamentary elections on June 7, 2026. This is stated in a CEC press release.

The Commission invalidated the voting results at polling station N 10/51 formed in the service area of district electoral commission N 10, as well as the voting results at polling station N 35/65 formed in the service area of district electoral commission N 35.

The Commission decided to record the number of participants at station N 10/51 as 1287, as the total amount of inaccuracies at polling station N 10/51.

The number of participants at polling station N 35/65 as 1315, recorded as the total amount of inaccuracies at polling station N 35/65.

The remaining results (figures) of the protocols of polling stations N 10/51 and N 35/65, except for the amounts of inaccuracies, are recorded as 0 (zero).

Materials on polling stations N 10/51 and N 35/65 have been sent to the prosecutor’s office," the statement says.

Note that polling station 35/65 in Syunik region is the station where after 20:00 voting continued for a long time, with military personnel voting.

The day after the elections, CEC Chairman Vahagn Ovakimyan did not see a problem, noting that before 20:00 the military personnel entered the station and had the right to vote and leave.
