Seizure of 429 Various Violations in Supply Campaigns in Beni Suef During a Week

The Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Beni Suef Governorate, headed by Engineer Mohamed Abdel Rahman, announced the results of intensive inspection campaigns carried out in cooperation with the relevant authorities during the period from May 30 to June 5, 2026, in implementation of the directives of Major General Abdullah Abdel Aziz, Governor of Beni Suef, to tighten control over markets and confront supply violations.
429 Reports in a Week
The supply campaigns resulted in the issuance of 429 various reports across different centers of the governorate, including supply, environmental, and health violations, as part of monitoring the availability of goods, ensuring that subsidies reach their beneficiaries, and combating commercial fraud.
Violations of municipal bakeries topped the issued reports with a total of 269 violations, ranging from violations related to bread production and non-compliance with the terms and conditions regulating supply work.
Additionally, 16 reports were issued against supply agents and outlets of the "Gam'ity" project, along with 30 reports in the field of public markets and commercial fraud.
The campaigns also included issuing 8 reports for engaging in commercial activities without obtaining legal licenses or commercial registration, in addition to issuing 32 reports in the field of petroleum products trading.
Health Violations and Failure to Announce Prices
In the field of health control, 46 reports were issued for workers in facilities not holding health certificates, in addition to 28 reports for failure to announce prices, with legal measures taken against all violators.
The Supply Directorate confirmed the continuation of daily inspection campaigns in coordination with the relevant authorities to control markets and ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing trade, in order to protect citizens' rights and ensure the availability of goods of appropriate quality and announced prices.
