Bloom Energy, Illumina and Everpure will join the S&P 500 index, S&P Dow Jones Indices announced late Friday. The three stocks rose in after-hours trading.
Bloom Energy ( BE), Illumina ( ILMN) and Everpure ( P) will be added to the benchmark index before the open on Monday, Sept. 21, as part of a quarterly rebalancing of S&P indexes. They'll replace Molson Coors ( TAP), Trade Desk ( TTD) and Builders FirstSource ( BLDR).

Bloom Energy stock jumped 6% in Friday evening trading, set to gap above a short-term high of 253.31 . The fuel-cell maker, an AI power play, spiked 7.35% on Friday and 20% for the week to 252.87, surging above the 50-day moving average. Bloom Energy stock is building the right side of a new base with a 351.28 entry.
Illumina and Everpure rose about 2% in extended action.
Molson Coors, Trade Desk and Builders FirstSource were little changed.
