Deloitte has raised its full-year forecast for Hong Kong initial public offerings to HK$480 billion ($61.2 billion), putting the city on track to surpass its historic fundraising record set in 2010.
While keeping its volume projection unchanged at roughly 160 listings, the accounting firm lifted its capital estimate by about 60% on Thursday, pointing to an influx of mega-deals and a crowded pipeline. The revised figure would eclipse the city’s previous high of HK$449.5 billion set 16 years ago and solidify Hong Kong’s position among the world’s top three IPO venues for 2026.
