SIX more Dorset businesses have been hit with penalties totalling £250,000 for employing workers without the legal right to work in the UK, following a new wave of Home Office enforcement action.
The newly published enforcement data highlights ongoing operations targeting car washes, takeaways, restaurants and lounges across the county.

Following a visit from immigration enforcement on July 16 2025, Haval Mohammed, trading as Ferndown Carwash, of 190 New Road, West Parley, Ferndown was issued with a civil penalty on January 29, 2026 for £45,000 for employing an individual without the right to work.
Two individuals of Iraqi and Afghan nationality were arrested pending removal.
Following a visit from immigration enforcement on August 20, 2025, Coolway Kebab Limited, trading as Superb Pizza of 455 Poole Road, Branksome, was issued with a civil penalty on December 11, 2025 for £40,000 for employing an individual without the right to work.
One individual of Iranian nationality was arrested pending removal.
Following a visit from immigration enforcement on September 25, 2025, Rossos Poole Limited trading as Rossos Italiano, of 25 Dolphin Quays, Poole was issued with a civil penalty on January 29, 2026 for £40,000 for employing an individual without the right to work.
One Kyrgyzstani national was arrested pending removal.
Following a visit from immigration enforcement on August 7, 2025, Nala Lounge Ltd trading as Nala Lounge, of 135 West Hill Road, Bournemouth, was issued with a civil penalty on February 25, 2026 for £40,000 for employing an individual working in breach of their work restrictions.
Two individuals of Nigerian and Turkish nationality were arrested pending removal.
Following a visit from immigration enforcement on September 30, 2025, Dorset Mobile Car Valeting Ltd, trading as Car Wash, of Fairmile Service Station, of 204 Fairmile Road, Christchurch, was issued with a civil penalty on January 15 2026 for £40,000 for employing an individual working in breach of their work restrictions.
Two individuals of Egyptian and Syrian nationality were arrested pending removal. Immigration Enforcement did not conduct any further follow up visit.
Simla Blandford Limited, trading as Simla Blandford of 12 West Street, Blandford Forum, was issued with a civil penalty on December 18, 2025 for £45,000 for employing an individual without the right to work.
Where the penalty remains unpaid, the debt will be passed to our external debt recovery specialists for enforcement action.
Civil Penalty Notices include a fine of up to £45,000 per illegal worker for a first breach and up to a maximum of £60,000 for repeat offending.

A Home Office spokesperson said: "Illegal working undermines honest employers, undercuts local wages, and fuels organised immigration crime. This government will not stand for it.
"Since coming into power, we have increased immigration enforcement action to the highest level in British history. This has delivered a 122 per cent rise in illegal working arrests, and a 111 per cent rise in raids."
