A second heatwave could be on the way for Essex, and wider parts of the UK.
Forecasts suggest Essex could see temperatures climbing as high as 27C starting late next week.
According to WXCharts, which uses the ECMWF forecasting model, the warm weather is expected to begin on Thursday, June 11, with temperatures reaching around 25C in Essex.
Friday is also set to reach 25C, climbing to 26C on Saturday and peaking at 27C on Sunday, which is expected to be the hottest day of the week.
The warm spell looks likely to continue into the following week, with 25C predicted for Monday and 24C for Tuesday.

This forecast highlights at least six consistent days of temperatures above 24C, marking a potential heatwave.
A heatwave is defined as three or more consecutive days where daily maximum temperatures meet or exceed a specific threshold.
The heatwave threshold for the Essex is 27c, according to the Met Office, so currently temperatures do not meet that threshold.
However, forecasts remain subject to change, and past instances have shown that initial predictions have often underestimated the final outcome.
The Met Office have hinted that warm temperatures could return to the UK.
Their long-term forecast for the country during this period states: "The start of the period is likely to be relatively settled, with high pressure in the vicinity of the UK bringing drier conditions to most parts of the UK.
"However, some showers or spells of rain are still possible.
"Winds will mostly be light with temperatures probably above normal."
Just weeks ago, Essex experienced record-breaking temperatures during an extended spell of 30C-plus weather.
May saw heat records shattered in the county, with temperatures reaching 34C.
