Katz: Israel Will Respond If Attacked by Iran
Israel's Defense Minister warned today that his country will respond forcefully if it is attacked by Iran, after the interception of an Iranian missile targeting the port of Aqaba in Jordan.
"If Iran launches missiles at Israel, we will attack them with all our forces," said Israel Katz during his visit to a rescue center. He added that, in such a case, the country is ready to take measures "both defensive and offensive" against Tehran.
Jordan's armed forces announced earlier that they shot down three Iranian missiles targeting the kingdom, while a fourth fell in a desert area. According to the country's official news agency, citing a military official, no material damage was caused and there are no casualties.
