JPMorgan Chase ( NYSE:JPM), America's largest bank by assets, rose approximately 0.3% to $352.51 Friday morning as bank stocks drove Wall Street's comeback. The gain erased a slice of Thursday's damage and left the stock hovering near its 52-week high. Investors are buying the heavyweight that can make money in almost any market.

The numbers explain the confidence. Second-quarter net income thundered to $21.2 billion on $58 billion of managed revenue. Markets revenue surged 35% to $12.1 billion. Equity-markets revenue nearly doubled, soaring 86% to $6 billion. Net interest income jumped another 10% to $25.6 billion. Trading is booming. Lending is delivering. The deposit fortress keeps feeding the machine.

But the market already knows JPMorgan is a monster. At $352.51, the stock sits 12.39% above its GF Value estimate of $313.65, showing that investors are paying a serious premium for quality. That premium can survive while earnings keep crushing expectations, but weaker lending, rising credit losses or falling rates could change the mood fast. JPMorgan may still be the best bank in the game. The stock price is simply demanding that it keeps playing like one.
