Russia once again declares its alleged readiness for negotiations on Ukraine. At the same time, they accuse Kyiv of lacking desire for dialogue.
This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with RT.

What another cynical statement did Lavrov make?
The Russian diplomat stated that Russia is ready to negotiate an end to the war with Ukraine, but also added that Kyiv allegedly shows no such readiness.
At the same time, Lavrov noted that he was surprised by statements from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that the Kremlin is not ready to make concessions in peace negotiations.
"It is very strange to hear this from a participant of the meeting in Anchorage on August 15 last year, where President Putin accepted President Trump's proposals regarding the primary steps that would allow stopping hostilities and starting negotiations," the politician clarified.
Also, Moscow continues to voice tough positions regarding Ukraine's potential membership in NATO or the EU.
"Rutte doesn't give a damn that US considers Ukraine's NATO membership unacceptable," Lavrov added.
The Foreign Minister also noted that it is easier for Europeans to accept Ukraine into NATO than into the EU, otherwise the European Union would collapse.
It is worth noting that on June 3, the Defense Forces attacked a number of important enemy facilities, including oil infrastructure in St. Petersburg. Immediately after the successful strikes, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin at the SPIEF field again repeated that Russia is allegedly open to negotiations. According to him, the Kremlin's position on "finding ways for a political-diplomatic peaceful settlement is well known."
At the same time, he rejected the possible option of bilateral negotiations between Ukraine and Russia without mediators, instead proposing Kyiv – Moscow – Washington.
