Here are the latest planning applications submitted to Ceredigion County Council for Cardigan and Llandysul.
Timber construction
A proposal has been submitted for a single-storey timber barn at Brynarberth in Llangoedmor, Cardigan.
The 11.5 by 11.5-metre structure is intended for use as stables and will include a stall and tack room.
A separate hay store, measuring 4.8 by 14.4 metres, is also planned.
Both buildings will feature tin roofs and will be constructed on existing grassland.
While the site is not considered at significant risk of flooding, the Local Lead Flood Authority (LLFA) has raised concerns about the lack of a detailed drainage strategy.
The application mentions surface water runoff will be directed to a soakaway and an existing watercourse, but further clarification and supporting information have been requested.
Solar panels
Tysul Youth Centre in Llandysul has applied to install a 4kW solar PV array on the south-facing roof of its modern extension.
The system will comprise 16 panels and is expected to generate 5,760 kWh of electricity annually, saving an estimated 1,175 kg of CO2.

The company behind the project stated that the system would be installed and certified by its trained team.
Amendment
A non-material amendment has been submitted for a previously approved scheme at Lan Y Mor, Gerylli, Gwbert, Cardigan.
The amendment proposes reducing the front extension to a porch with level access.
The original application included internal alterations, a garage for accessible vehicle use, a kitchen, and level access to the front elevation.
The scheme also aims to provide level and wheelchair access around the property.
