The Lviv Regional Military Administration, the Czech charitable organization Caritas Czech Republic, and the Clinical Center for Pediatric Medicine have signed a tripartite agreement to create a modern children's mental health center. This was reported on July 11, 2026, by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
The new space will be established on the basis of the Mental Health Clinic for Children, Adolescents, and Youth, which is part of the Clinical Center for Pediatric Medicine. The facility is located on Dnisterska Street in Lviv. Work is planned to be completed by the end of this year.
According to Maksym Kozytskyi, the full-scale war has caused deep psychological consequences, so it is extremely important to provide timely, quality assistance to those in need. The center will have a multidisciplinary team of specialists: child psychiatrists, psychologists, and a speech therapist.
The center's premises will include space for group activities, a day hospital, and sensory rooms. Everything necessary for the full-fledged work of specialists in various fields will be created here.
The opening of the center is part of the development of a network of psychosocial support in the region. It is expected to help children and young people adapt to the challenges of today.
