Police have arrested a 40-year-old man in Berlin-Spandau in connection with the discovery of a body in a forest near Potsdam. The arrest is linked to the alleged kidnapping of a businessman on April 23, 2026, in Berlin-Waidmannslust.
The suspect was presented to an investigating judge on May 12, who issued an arrest warrant, and he has been in custody since then. Reports suggest the body found in the woods was buried.
