Mustafa Gültepe was re-elected as the President of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TİM).
The 33rd Ordinary General Assembly with elections of TİM was held throughout the day at the Haliç Congress Center. Within the scope of the general assembly, the TİM Export Champions Award Ceremony was also held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, Minister of Interior Mustafa Çiftçi, and senior officials.
Mustafa Gültepe, who ran as the only candidate in the election held within the framework of the general assembly, received all valid votes and was elected as the TİM President for the second time.
In his speech after the results were announced, Mustafa Gültepe thanked the TİM delegates for their trust and support.
Emphasizing that the unity and solidarity shown by the export family during a difficult period is very meaningful, Gültepe said, "Despite global and national challenges, we managed to increase both goods and services exports in each of the first 4 years. Again, with the projects we carried out during this period, we strengthened the foundations of structural transformation. The second 4 years will be a period of acceleration on the journey towards the goal of bringing Turkey into the top 10 countries in exports."

Mustafa Gültepe, underlining that they cannot achieve this goal by only increasing exports in terms of tonnage, continued his words as follows:
"We will use high technology, R&D, innovation, design, branding, and twin transformation as leverage for value-added exports. We will turn the twin transformation into an advantage for our country in global competition. In the national export week we will organize every year, we will bring together all stakeholders of the ecosystem and bring Turkey's production power together with a global vision. To regain our competitiveness, we will work with NGOs and contribute to the determination of economic policies. We will build a congress center worthy of TİM and the export family."
Gültepe added that he believes they will have a very productive 4 years with the current understanding of unity and solidarity in the export family.
