Young people remain in the focus of the Government's policies, and for the employment measures in 2026, nearly 40 million euros have been secured, which should cover more than 10,000 citizens, announced VMRO-DPMNE. The party states that reducing unemployment and creating new jobs remain among the main priorities of the Government, pointing out that the results of the measures so far are already visible. "Young people remain at the center of the policies of the Government led by VMRO-DPMNE. VMRO-DPMNE shows with deeds, not words. Reducing unemployment and creating new jobs remain a top priority of the Government," the party said. According to the announcement, through the Operational Plan for Employment in 2025, over 2,600 people were covered, of which nearly 1,500 young people up to 29 years old, while nearly 2,200 new businesses were opened. VMRO-DPMNE emphasizes that the funds for the Operational Plan for Employment in 2025 were increased by 7.5 million euros compared to the previous year. "In 2026, the Government goes a step further. Nearly 40 million euros have been secured to support employment, covering more than 10,000 citizens. Over 32 million euros are directly directed towards measures that will create new job opportunities and economic development," the announcement states. The party adds that with the Operational Plan for 2026, nearly 6,000 young people will be included in active employment measures. "Additionally, thousands of young people will receive support through a youth allowance, internships, and training for acquiring new skills," VMRO-DPMNE said. The announcement also points out that through self-employment measures and support for creating new jobs, incentives are planned for employing young people in production facilities. "For about 3,500 young people up to 23 years old, a youth allowance of 3,000 denars is provided," the party highlights. VMRO-DPMNE assesses that these policies contribute to creating new opportunities for young people and keeping them in the country. "VMRO-DPMNE builds an economy that creates opportunities, keeps young people at home, and provides a secure future for every citizen. We work dedicatedly, invest in people, and deliver concrete results," the party's statement says.
