Analisadaily.com, Sibolga – Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional North Sumatra (Sumbagut) continues to optimize the distribution of subsidized Biosolar fuel to ensure the energy needs of the people in Sibolga City and its surroundings are met.
In response to the increasing demand for Biosolar in the Sibolga area, Pertamina has optimized the distribution of subsidized Biosolar by increasing the average distribution by approximately 21.7% compared to normal conditions.
This step was taken to maintain supply availability for the public, although the simultaneous increase in demand has caused vehicle congestion at several gas stations, especially during certain hours.
Nevertheless, Pertamina ensures there are no supply disruptions or reductions in the Biosolar quota in the Sibolga area. Fuel distribution continues to be optimized with operational support from the Sibolga Fuel Terminal to maintain stock availability at gas stations according to community needs.
As a preventive measure, Pertamina has coordinated with gas station managers and the Transportation Department to implement a marshalling system for managing vehicle flow in gas station areas.
In addition, Pertamina continues to coordinate with the Sibolga Fuel Terminal to ensure priority distribution of fuel according to field needs and urges all gas stations to increase monitoring of stock conditions so that if there is a spike in consumption, distribution can be immediately optimized and service to the public remains maintained.
Pertamina also continues to emphasize compliance of all gas stations with the provisions for subsidized fuel distribution to ensure that services to the public remain optimal and targeted.
"Through synergy with all stakeholders, Pertamina is committed to maintaining the reliability of energy distribution and ensuring that the needs of the community are met," said Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw, Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR for the North Sumatra Region, Monday (29/6/2026).
The public is urged to purchase fuel according to their needs and use subsidized fuel for its intended purpose so that distribution can be enjoyed by those entitled.
If the public finds indications of irregularities in the distribution of subsidized fuel, they can report them through the Pertamina Contact Center 135 for follow-up according to applicable procedures.
