Asia's 'most beautiful island' reports $1.76B tourism revenues in 9 months

Phu Quoc, voted Asia's most beautiful island by Condé Nast Traveler readers, generated VND45.9 trillion (US$1.76 billion) in tourism revenue in the first nine months of this year, up 47.7% year-on-year and surpassing 1% of this year's target.
In September alone, the island generated VND4.2 billion in tourism revenues, up 49% year-on-year as foreign tourist arrivals surged 85% to 208,447, according to An Giang Province's Department of Tourism.
Phu Quoc estimated to welcome 1.92 million foreign tourists in the first nine months of this year, up 60% year-on-year and meeting 95% of its annual target.

The island's tourism industry generated VND44 trillion ($1.67 billion) in 2025.
Relaxed visa rules, international all-inclusive resorts and expanded air services are positioning Phu Quoc to capture growing demand from affluent travelers, industry insiders said.
