Power outages in 7 regions due to enemy attacks and bad weather

No restrictions are forecast for today.

Due to enemy attacks, there are power outages in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions. This was reported by Ukrenergo and Ministry of Energy.

"Where security conditions currently allow, emergency restoration work has already begun. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power to all disconnected consumers as quickly as possible," Ukrenergo stated.

At the same time, due to bad weather, residents of Kyiv and Sumy regions are without power.

"Due to bad weather, over 40 settlements in Kyiv and Sumy regions remain without electricity. Repair crews are working on restoration," the Ministry of Energy noted.

The ministry reported that as of Tuesday morning, no restrictions are forecast.

"Electricity consumption is showing a downward trend. Today, June 9, as of 09:30, it was 3.5% lower than the previous day – Monday. The reason for the changes is the establishment of clear weather almost throughout Ukraine (except for part of the northeastern regions). This ensures efficient operation of household solar power plants and a corresponding reduction in energy consumption from the general grid," Ukrenergo stated.

At the same time, citizens were urged to shift active energy consumption to daytime hours.

"Considering weather conditions, it is advisable to shift active energy consumption today to the period of most productive operation of industrial solar power plants – from 10:00 to 16:00. At the same time, the need for economical energy consumption in the evening hours – from 18:00 to 22:00 – remains," the ministry noted.

Recall that Russian occupiers shelled Sumy region. As a result of enemy strikes in Konotop, there were power and water supply interruptions all day.
