The aggressor country Russia attacked Ukraine on the night of July 26 with a guided Kh-59/69 missile, seven ballistic missiles, and 136 Shahed attack drones and UAVs of various types. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

According to the Air Force, as of 8:30 a.m., air defense had shot down/suppressed the Kh-59/69, five Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, and 104 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones in various regions of Ukraine.

Two ballistic missiles could not be shot down. Hits from these, as well as 27 attack UAVs, were recorded at 18 locations. Additionally, there is damage from falling debris at seven locations.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported damage in the capital. According to him, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, debris fell on an 18-story building, causing a fire on the seventh-eighth floors. In the Solomianskyi district, a non-residential area burned. In the Desnianskyi district, cars in a parking lot caught fire. As of the morning, Klitschko reported three injured people.

The State Emergency Service (DSNS) showed photos of the aftermath of the attack on Kyiv.

Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha stated that the enemy struck Kryvyi Rih overnight.

"A fire broke out in a shopping center. Information about casualties is being clarified," he wrote.

The public page "SVOI | Kryvyi Rih" wrote that the only building hypermarket in the city, which had been operating for almost 19 years and employed about 400 people, came under attack.

"Typical Kryvyi Rih" noted that the Russians burned the only "Epitsentr" in the entire city.

"First City. Kryvyi Rih" stated that the fire at the shopping center could be seen for tens of kilometers.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that a "Banderola" hit was recorded in the Slobidskyi district of the city. Later, he announced a hit on a private residential building; as of 9:21 a.m., it was known that one person was dead and three were injured (among the victims, one child). According to the latest data, there are already six injured, including two children. More than 10 private residential buildings were damaged.
