President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the strike on the Brovary district of Kyiv region, which damaged the dairy plant "Yagotynske for Children". The head of state stated that Russian treachery has added another "victory" against children.
He reported this on his Telegram channel. Rescue operations are ongoing despite the fire being extinguished.
What the president said
According to the head of state, as a result of the attack, four people died and seven were injured.
"The list of Russia's latest 'victories' over the past few days has been supplemented by the 'Yagotynske for Children' plant, which produced baby food. In the Kyiv region, rescue operations are ongoing at the site of this strike – the State Emergency Service units have already extinguished the fire," he said.
In addition, according to the head of state, among this list are food warehouses and a postal service in the Dnipropetrovsk region, an ambulance in Kherson, a school building in the Sumy region, port infrastructure in the Odesa region, ordinary residential buildings and an outpatient clinic building in the Kharkiv region.
"Russia continues its war against life, and everyone who helps us truly stands in its defense. Every support package with anti-ballistic systems, every joint agreement on weapons production, all the world's steps in sanctions against Russia – all of this helps protect people's lives," the head of state concluded.
Let us recall that earlier it became known that Russian forces struck with drones and artillery in several districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the attack, a woman and a man died, there are also injured; the occupiers hit residential buildings, an enterprise, a gas station, and cars.
As OBOZ.UA reported, at night Russia attacked Ukraine with two guided aerial missiles and 216 UAVs. The defense forces neutralized almost 200 targets. Hits of 16 strike UAVs at 13 locations were recorded, as well as the fall of downed (debris) at 12 locations. The guided aerial missiles did not reach their targets.
