Russian Export Center Allocates Over 500 Billion Rubles to Boost Exports to China in 2025

The Russian Export Center provided over 500 billion rubles in support for exports to China in 2025, with non-resource exports rising 18% to a record 27% share.

ST. PETERSBURG, June 5 (Sputnik) - Tatyana An, Deputy General Director of the Russian Export Center, said that in 2025, the Russian Export Center allocated over 500 billion rubles to support exports to China.

According to a press release from the Russian Export Center, citing Tatyana An: "In 2025, the total amount of support provided by the Russian Export Center to companies entering the Chinese market exceeded 500 billion rubles."

Speaking at the business dialogue "Russia-China: 30 Years of Strategic Cooperation - New Prospects for Cooperation" held during the 2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatyana An said that the center has provided over 11,000 services to more than 3,300 foreign economic activity entities.

She noted that over the past five years, Russia's non-raw material, non-energy exports to China have grown steadily. In 2025, exports of such products increased by 18% year-on-year, and the share of non-resource, non-energy exports in Russia's total exports to China reached 27%, a record high.

In 2025, the industries with the highest volume of non-raw material, non-energy exports to China included the agricultural industry (over 166 billion rubles), the chemical industry (over 63 billion rubles), and the forestry industry (over 61 billion rubles). The top five industries also included machinery manufacturing (over 22 billion rubles) and metallurgy (nearly 21 billion rubles).

In 2026, the top three industries receiving export support from the Russian Export Center were metallurgy, machinery manufacturing, and the chemical industry. Data show that in the first quarter of 2026 alone, the support from the Russian Export Center for exports to China exceeded 32.5 billion rubles.

The 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held from June 3 to June 6.
