FAIRFIELD — Travis Unified school board President Matthew Bidou will speak on the proposed 1% sales tax increase in Fairfield, as well as the proposed 1% sales tax in Vacaville when the trustees meet Wednesday (Oct. 7).

Also on the agenda is review of the district Strategic Plan. Safety and Security is the top priority in a plan with 21 listed priorities.

The board also will consider a contract agreement with the union representing classified personnel, and to release its proposal to the certified staff.

Additionally, the 2025-26 annual and five-rear report on development fees; and an update on modification of Center Elementary is on the agenda.

The board meets at 6 p.m. in the Vanden High library, 2951 Markeley Lane, in Fairfield.
