If your bank is closed Monday, Oct. 12, plan to handle in-person banking on Saturday, Oct. 10, or wait until Tuesday, Oct. 13, when branches reopen.
You can also use your bank’s online banking features, or if your bank has a 24-hour ATM, you can use the ATM to make withdrawals and deposits.
If you use an ATM or online banking on Columbus Day, your transactions will not post until Tuesday, Oct. 13.
You can also consider going to TD Bank or Chase Bank to complete in-person transactions, which are two of the few banks open on the holiday.
TD Bank will be open on Columbus Day from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can find your local TD Bank here.
Chase Bank will be open for in-person transactions on Columbus Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Online transactions will post the next business day. You can find your local Chase Bank here.
