Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan will conduct a business census from 15 October to 30 November 2026, covering legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, dehkan farms, self-employed citizens and businesses operating without official registration.

The measures were approved under Government Resolution No. 557 dated 9 October 2026.

The reference date for the census is 1 October 2026 at 00:00, although the data collection process will continue until the end of November.

Legal entities will be able to submit information independently through the hisobot.stat.uz portal, while self-employed citizens can provide their details through census.stat.uz.

Authorised personnel will also conduct the census of economic entities directly at their places of operation. Interviews are scheduled daily from 09:00 to 18:00.

Information collected about respondents will remain confidential and be used exclusively for statistical purposes. A call centre operating through the short number 1851 will be established to provide consultations and receive enquiries.

After the census is completed, a selective verification exercise will be conducted within 10 days. The checks will cover up to 5% of registered economic entities.

The final results of the business census are scheduled to be published on the official website of Uzbekistan's National Statistics Committee no later than 1 September 2027.
