Zelensky Discussed Protection of Ukrainian Skies and Missile Interceptors for Patriot with Vance
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone conversation with Vice President of the United States JD Vance.
According to the head of state, the call was positive and productive. During the conversation, the parties discussed in detail the results of Volodymyr Zelensky's recent meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington.
"Russian air strikes on our country are not stopping, and air defense – namely interceptors for Patriots against ballistic missiles – remains the main priority. We also spoke with the Vice President about the consequences of Russia's war for global markets," Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel following the conversation.
The parties agreed that representatives of both countries will stay in touch and work through everything that was discussed.
"I thank the United States for supporting Ukraine and our people," Zelensky summed up.
