WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A 6.1 magnitude earthquake has been reported near Cuba on Monday afternoon.
Around 2:00 Monday afternoon, an earthquake 10 km deep occurred about 104 km northwest of Mantua, Cuba.

There is no tsunami threat, nor have there been any reports of damage on the island.
People across South Florida have reported feeling some shaking due to the quake. You can see those locations here.
The City of Boynton Beach stated that it's aware of the reported tremors in the area and is monitoring information from federal and state agencies. Officials say at this time there are no reports of damage or injuries in Boynton Beach.
Residents are being asked to stay calm and check their homes for any visible damage.
