CITIC Group hosts Guangxi events to unlock global business opportunities

From June 24 to 26, CITIC Group — in collaboration with Guangxi Zhuang autonomous regional government — hosted the "2026 Guangxi Tour for International Enterprises" event. It brought together more than 220 enterprises from over 30 countries and regions, serving as a platform to link global resources with local industries in Guangxi.

On June 25, the Industrial Cooperation Conference took place in Nanning. Xi Guohua, chairman of CITIC Group, said the event provided all parties with a platform to better understand the Chinese market and explore investment opportunities. CITIC use the event as a jumping off point to work with all partners to open a new chapter of cooperation.

First, CITIC will work with partners to seize new opportunities for openness and win-win cooperation. It will actively support Guangxi's participation in major initiatives — such as New Western Land-Sea Corridor and the Pinglu Canal Economic Belt — while offering tailored services to help enterprises invest in Guangxi and succeed in Guangxi. Second, CITIC will help build a new ecosystem for leapfrog development, providing targeted support for Guangxi-based specialized and innovative enterprises, hidden champions and potential listed companies. It will deepen joint technological research, co-creation, and resource-sharing in high-end manufacturing, advanced materials, and bio-breeding industries. Third, CITIC will contribute to a new chapter in the cultural and economic development of Guangxi through international exchanges.
