Civilians Killed and Injured in Strikes in Ukraine and Russia
A passenger in a car was killed and the female driver was injured as a result of a drone attack in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv.
This was reported by Ukrinform, citing a Telegram post by Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration. "The enemy attacked a civilian vehicle in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. A 48-year-old passenger was killed as a result of the drone strike," the post says.
In addition, the 38-year-old female driver was injured and is receiving medical assistance. Emergency services are working at the strike site, Syniehubov noted. Cleanup efforts after the attack continue. As reported by Ukrinform, body parts of a person killed in a Russian airstrike were found in the Holodnohirsky district of Kharkiv.
At least nine people were injured as a result of a Russian drone strike in Zaporizhzhia, three of them employees of a logistics company who were at work during the attack.
The Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office stated this in Telegram, cited by Ukrinform.
It was established that around 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, Russian forces struck the city's civilian infrastructure with Shahed-type drones. The attack damaged the building of a Nova Poshta branch and a technical inspection point. The explosion caused a fire, which has already been extinguished. Law enforcement officers have launched an investigation into the war crime, classified under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, stated that as a result of the attack in Zaporizhzhia, cars were destroyed and damaged, including a police car. According to the head of the regional administration, one police officer was injured.
The number of wounded in a Russian drone attack on a passenger minibus in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson has increased to eight. The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this in Telegram.
"The number of victims from the Russian drone attack on a minibus in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson has increased to eight," the statement says.
It is noted that a 55-year-old woman also went to the hospital. She was diagnosed with blast trauma, concussion, and stress. She is receiving the necessary medical care.
From the Russian side, casualties were also reported in attacks.
Two civilians were killed and four others were injured in drone strikes on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) on Friday, according to regional governor Denis Pushilin, reported by Interfax.
"Two civilians in the republic were killed and four others were injured today as a result of attacks by drones of the Ukrainian armed forces," Pushilin said in a statement published by his press service on Friday. It was also specified that during the same period, the drone strikes "damaged three civilian infrastructure objects, three residential buildings, seven trucks, and three cars in Donetsk, Horlivka, Khartsyzk, and the Starobesheve, Volnovakha, Mangush, and Kurakhove municipal districts."
