At least three dead in Russian attacks on Ukraine

According to a statement by Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, a total of three people lost their lives on the border with Poland and in the Zaporizhzhia region. Nationwide, tens of thousands of families were also left without electricity because substations had been damaged. Zelenskyy accused Russia of deliberately attacking energy infrastructure so that people would be left without heating and electricity again in winter.

Zelenskyy also criticized US President Trump for suspending sanctions directed against Russia. He stated that this was a signal to the Kremlin that the war against Ukraine could continue.
