The platform, detailed at a press conference on May 26th, aims to leverage artificial intelligence to enhance various stages of the manufacturing value chain, including research and development, production, branding, and sales.
The 'Yue Zhi Fu' platform is intended to provide empowerment services to enterprises, with a focus on integrating new technologies and equipment. The provincial government has also introduced management measures for manufacturing empowerment resources. This initiative is part of a broader plan by Guangdong to advance its manufacturing sector towards higher-end, intelligent, and greener development.
In addition to the manufacturing focus, Guangdong is also advancing AI applications across other sectors, including drug discovery, marine ranching, and judicial processes. The province is also investing in foundational AI infrastructure, such as computing networks and data market development, to support these broader AI integration efforts.
