What’s been happening in the occupied West Bank?
Israeli forces and settlers carry out more raids and attacks across the occupied West Bank on Friday, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Here are some of the reported incidents:
- A 19-year-old Palestinian, identified by the Palestinian Health Ministry as Bahaa Sami Amin al-Natsheh, is killed by Israeli settler gunfire in Kobar, north of Ramallah.
- Settler attacks occur across nearly 20 locations, leaving Palestinians beaten or injured during olive harvesting, homes and vehicles attacked, a car seized, olive trees damaged, and farmers blocked from reaching their land.
- Israeli forces carry out raids and arrests across the West Bank, detaining at least 11 people and imposing tight restrictions around the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem.
- Palestinian authorities report that 30 Palestinians have been killed by settlers since the start of 2026, exceeding any year since 2022.
