Pre-war control of the Strait of Hormuz will never return. This was stated by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf in an interview with IRNA.

"Of course, international rules will be observed, but Iran will manage the Strait of Hormuz," the official was quoted as saying.

Earlier, US Vice President JD Vance said at a press conference in Bürgenstock that the Strait of Hormuz is open for navigation. According to him, millions of barrels of oil had already passed through the strait last night.

A day earlier, US President Donald Trump began threatening to destroy Iran and insulted the country and all its residents, calling it a "damned country." The reason again was the Strait of Hormuz.
