In the week from June 29 to July 5, 2026, the average price of electricity was 134.85 euro/MWh, down 6.8% compared to the previous week. This was announced by the Gestore dei Mercati Energetici (GME), which manages the electricity exchange.

The volumes of electricity traded directly on the GME exchange amounted to approximately 5.725 million MWh (-1.8%), with liquidity at 85.6%.

Average sales prices ranged between 130.04 euro/MWh in Sardinia and 135.22 euro/MWh in the North and Central North.
