Abrupt awakening during the night for the inhabitants of Campi Flegrei for a very energetic event. The Gossip system places the epicenter in the Lucrino area with a horizontal error of about 200m. The magnitude Md 3.6±0.3 and a hypocentral depth of 2.6km with an error of about 100m. The very western epicenter made the event particularly perceptible in the western area of the Caldera and less in the eastern one. It is an area crossed by a fault or a system of faults that then connects with those of the more central area of the Gulf. It is difficult to say whether this could be another branch of the same fault that generated the Md 4.4±0 event. 🔗 Read on Ilblogdigio.it
