In the Kanavinsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, the family of Private Anton Komarovsky, who died while carrying out tasks during the special military operation, was presented with a state award – the Order of Courage. The ceremony took place at the district administration. This was reported by the press service of the administration of Nizhny Novgorod.
The head of the district, Artyom Ivanov, noted that Anton Sergeevich's deed was an example of exceptional bravery and selflessness, and the awarding of the Order of Courage reflects respect for the hero's feat.
"It is difficult to put into words the pain we feel today. Anton Sergeevich was a true patriot who carried out his duty with honor," said Artyom Ivanov.
The military commissar of the Leninsky and Kanavinsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod, Alexei Kvashnin, also attended the ceremony.
