Flight attendants at PAL Airlines have filed for conciliation with the federal labour board after failing to reach a new contract with their employer.
CUPE Local 5451 President Mark Rice says the key issues remain unresolved: wages, scheduling, working conditions, and work-life balance. The union, which represents roughly 175 flight attendants, has been negotiating with the airline since the spring of 2025.
Once a conciliator is officially appointed, the two sides will have 60 days to reach an agreement.
