CEO of Palantir Technologies Alex Karp believes that Ukraine's key value in modern warfare lies not only in weapons production, but primarily in creating effective battle management systems and using digital technologies on the battlefield.

This was stated by Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov in an interview with the PRESSING YouTube channel.

According to Fedorov, during his visits to Kyiv, Alex Karp was impressed by how Ukrainian military integrate digital tools into decision-making and unit management processes.

According to the minister, Ukraine's cooperation with Palantir has been ongoing for more than four years and covers various areas of data work and digital solutions.

After the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Alex Karp became one of the first heads of the world's largest technology companies to personally visit the country. His trip took place in May 2022 and was a notable signal of support for Ukraine from the international technology community.

Today, the Palantir platform is used to analyze large data sets and improve military situational awareness. The company's tools help the Defense Forces process information faster, coordinate the actions of various units, and make decisions based on current data.

At the same time, the Russians do not have such tools.

"Alex Karp was simply in shock at how we use Palantir. He was shocked by our vision, what we are doing and what we plan to do. And he says your added value is not in the weapons you produce, but in management systems," the head of the defense ministry said.

Fedorov called the ability to effectively use technology to compensate for the lack of resources compared to Russia one of the features of the Ukrainian approach.

Earlier, Dialog.UA reported that US Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll expressed admiration for the Ukrainian Delta common operational command system, which makes it possible to plan operations and see the battlefield in real time.
