PPC has launched a third consecutive invitation to the market, this time seeking technology providers for a series of critical electrical systems to be used at its data center in Kozani.
This is an initial procedure of a non-binding nature and does not constitute an assignment or tender, which will follow later depending on the final investment decision. For now, PPC is in contact with various hyperscalers and aims to complete a framework agreement before the end of this year, so that the tenders for the construction and equipment of the data center can then proceed.
Thus, PPC, alongside its contacts with hyperscalers, is today also seeking companies with sufficient expertise and experience. Specifically, they are called upon to supply prefabricated generators that can cover the station's needs in case of emergency power supply issues.
At the same time, it requests medium-to-low voltage transformers, as well as RMU systems and various other types of electrical equipment.
As clarified in the invitation, the integration of the systems will be done either directly with a separate supply contract with a relevant technology provider, or through an independent contractor.
Beyond the technical parameters, PPC is particularly interested in the pricing and delivery time of the equipment, so that it can have the groundwork laid when the final decision comes.
