Saudi deputy FM meets Philippines’ Secretary of Foreign Affairs

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister Waleed Elkhereiji met on Friday with Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro on the sidelines of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia conference in Manila, the Philippines.
The two officials discussed ways to enhance relations and addressed issues of common interest, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The minister also met with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Secretary-General Kao Kim Hourn, and the two reviewed and discussed ways to strengthen Saudi Arabia-ASEAN relations.
Earlier, he met with Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan.
