Use permit for gas cleaning system at Hay Road Landfill to be reviewed
FAIRFIELD — The Solano County zoning administrator on Thursday will consider a use permit application to upgrade the existing G2 Energy landfill gas cleaning system at the Hay Road Landfill.
The meeting is set for 10 a.m. in the fifth-floor office of the Department of Resource Management, 675 Texas St., in Fairfield. The public can also join an audioconference at 1-323-457-3408, Conference ID: 123 200 850#.
The use permit also would allow Recology to install a renewable natural gas interconnection pipeline, approximately 1.7 miles long, at the landfill, located at 6426 Hay Road.
The G2 Energy system upgrades and cleans landfill gas into renewable natural gas.
