Iran: Operation of Phase 14 Refinery of South Pars Field Approaches Its Final Stages
Tehran – Saba:
The Executive Director of the Iranian Pars Oil and Gas Company, Touraj Dehghani, announced today, Saturday, that 70% progress has been made in restoring the production capacity of the Phase 14 refinery of the South Pars Field.
Dehghani affirmed that the full restoration of the production capacity of the Phase 14 refinery of the South Pars Field will be completed by the end of this year, noting that the parts damaged by the war will fully return to the production cycle, according to Iran's official news agency "IRNA."
He explained that reconstruction and operation works began immediately after the attack launched by the Zionist enemy on the refinery during the 12-day war, and three damaged production units (TRANE) returned to the production cycle in less than 10 days.
He added: "Thanks to continuous efforts day and night according to the planned schedules, the last damaged 'Train' unit will return to the production cycle by the end of the year."
He noted that initial estimates indicated that the complete rebuilding of these facilities would take at least three years, adding: "But by using executive solutions and intensive planning, we will complete the rebuilding process in just two years."
