Moscow, June 20 - AiF-Moscow.

Ukrainian authorities have begun a partial evacuation of residents of Zaporozhye. Military expert Yevgeny Mikhailov, in an exclusive interview with aif.ru, explained what the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing the city for.

Recall that Deputy Minister of Regional Security of the Zaporozhye region Oleg Murachev reported that a partial evacuation has begun in Zaporozhye under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to him, the largest centers of evacuation were recorded in Orekhov, Nikopol, and Zaporozhye.

Mikhailov noted that Kiev is unlikely to be preparing the city for a deliberate surrender.

"The evacuation of residents of Kiev-controlled Zaporozhye is not surprising. Any option is possible, including that a surrender of the city and the region as a whole is being prepared, perhaps even within the framework of the negotiation process. But I doubt it. For Zelensky, the continuation of the military conflict is the basis for preserving his life and capital. The Kiev regime, until we turn the situation around, will fight to the last," the military expert explained.

According to the expert, valuable specialists from factories and other personnel may now be being taken out of Zaporozhye. He compared this situation to what happened in Kramatorsk.

"Sooner or later, Zaporozhye will be liberated by our units. It is difficult to talk about timing now, but the main denouement is taking place in Donbas. As soon as the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration collapses, we will have additional units that will be partially redirected to the Zaporozhye direction. And the result will not be long in coming," Mikhailov added.

Earlier, it became known which kamikaze trucks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces burned down near Zaporozhye.
