Day 1561 of the war. Ukrainians struck St. Petersburg. Should we be afraid of these Russian missiles?

In response to the Russian attack with Zircon missiles on Kyiv, Ukraine reacted as it should—by striking legitimate military targets in St. Petersburg.

On Wednesday, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum PMEF-26 began—an event to which the Russians attach great importance, calling it the 'Russian Davos.' People from big business around the world exhibit and discuss here. Unfortunately, Western European companies were not absent. Their representatives explain that they have assets in Russia worth over $100 billion and do not want to lose them.

Thus, there is the German supermarket chain Globus Holding and the dairy company EkoNiva. From France: the energy company TotalEnergies, which has stakes in Russian pipelines such as Yamal, and the Association of European Businesses (AEB), which includes well-known hypermarkets Auchan and Leroy Merlin. From Italy: luxury wines VinoGrad, from Hungary the energy concern MVM (Magyar Villamos Művek). From Austria: Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) and large wood industry companies Kronospan and EGGER. From Greece and Cyprus: shipping companies, from Switzerland: pharmaceutical companies Novartis and Roche. From the Netherlands came food companies Unilever and JDE Peet’s (owner of the Jacobs brand). Poland is represented by the WOT foundation (not to be confused with the Territorial Defense Forces) and the Polish-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PRIHP).

These companies and organizations operate in Russia on their own account and against the recommendations of individual governments. Lenin's saying proves true: 'the capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them.' Also present in St. Petersburg were politicians from far-right and left-wing European groups, including Germany's AfD.

And suddenly this multinational gathering was gripped by fear: Ukrainian drones attacked an oil terminal in the port near the luxurious Gazprom skyscraper. People who came to work there in the morning saw the entire devastation from their windows.
