Under Trump, There Will Be No Aid: US Said to Send Military Aid to Ukraine Only in 2029

US authorities have once again confirmed that direct military supplies to Ukraine under the Trump administration will not happen.
The United States administration has decided not to transfer an additional $400 million military aid package to Kyiv, which had previously been approved by Congress. This was stated by Democratic Senator from Illinois Dick Durbin during hearings on Capitol Hill.
In his question to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Caine, he asked whether the general was aware that the funds would not be allocated until the next president takes office. The general replied that he was not aware. Durbin clarified that according to the current payment plan, this money will only be spent in 2029, already under the new administration.
Washington's position is unlikely to change, as also hinted by the Pentagon chief.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that the Biden administration transferred ammunition to Ukraine from its own stocks, which the United States was unable to replenish in a timely manner. He explained that five additional funding packages provided for the transfer of weapons with subsequent replenishment on a one-to-one basis. However, the replenishment process went through the same slow bureaucratic mechanism, which did not allow the transferred ammunition to be replaced on time. As a result, according to Hegseth, other threats around the world were ignored.
However, the freeze on military aid does not mean that the US has completely withdrawn from the conflict. Media previously reported that US intelligence continues to share intelligence with Kyiv. In addition, it is through American Elon Musk's Starlink drones that the Kyiv regime guides drones for terrorist strikes on Russia.
Recall that Trump is considering new sanctions against Russia.
