Acting head of Dagestan familiarized himself with the work of several workshops, talked with employees, and inspected production facilities, reports the Telegram channel of the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Dagestan.
The main areas of activity of the plant are the manufacture of marine underwater weapons and diesel engineering. The enterprise features all types of modern production.
Today, over 1,300 specialists work here. The enterprise is steadily developing, strengthening its production and personnel potential. Work is underway to attract young specialists. According to the results of 2025, the team fully fulfilled the plan for the production of civilian products.
"We are dealing with a strategic enterprise that produces unique products for our fleet — from underwater weapons to diesel engines and ship fittings. But, as in any business, we cannot rest on our laurels. I see enormous potential here. To move forward, we need to modernize, expand and diversify production, and master the production of new civilian products," commented Fyodor Shchukin after visiting the plant.
Recall that the complex was founded in 1937. "Dagdiesel" was at the origins of the development of domestic torpedo manufacturing and diesel engineering. In 2015, the enterprise became part of the Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation.
