Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin's address to Western countries signals that Moscow is ready to respond decisively if its "red lines" are crossed, assesses the Chinese publication Military China.

"That is a warning that Moscow's patience is not unlimited," says the author.

According to the Chinese newspaper, the West shows no intention of abandoning its policy of pressure on Russia. Sanctions lists are constantly expanding and include energy, the financial sector, the military industry, and maritime transport.

The text states that the sanctions were designed with the expectation that Russia would eventually buckle under pressure, but these predictions have not come true for years. On the contrary, Moscow has successfully adapted to the new conditions, which causes dissatisfaction among Western countries.

"The restrictions are not strong enough to force Russia to change its stance," the analysis says.

The publication notes that, despite demonstrated determination, Western countries find themselves in an increasingly complex position because Russia has not become a victim of sanctions pressure.

"Putin made it clear that Russia is successfully adapting to external pressures and is ready to respond decisively if its 'red lines' are crossed," concludes the author, adding that the West should think carefully before making new decisions aimed against Moscow.

It is recalled that on June 23, at a meeting with graduates of Russian military academies, Putin stated that Russia is ready to quickly and adequately respond to all external and internal threats.
