Hanoi Demands Review of BAF's High-Rise Pig Farming Proposal

Hanoi officials have requested a comprehensive assessment of BAF Agricultural Joint Stock Company's multi-story pig farming model to ensure alignment with city planning and environmental standards.

Hanoi demands assessment of the suitability of BAF Company's multi-story pig farming model

The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee requested relevant departments and agencies to comprehensively review and assess the suitability of the high-tech livestock farming model in multi-story buildings proposed by BAF Agricultural Joint Stock Company.

The Office of the City People's Committee has just issued a Notice on the conclusions of Vice Chairman Bui Duong Cuong at a meeting to hear reports on the proposal to develop a concentrated livestock farming complex applying high technology in a multi-story building model and a multi-functional slaughterhouse and food processing facility in the city.

Accordingly, Vice Chairman Bui Duong Cuong concluded that the city acknowledges and highly appreciates the proactive role of departments, agencies, and localities in advising on the direction of livestock farming, slaughter, and food processing development.

At the same time, the Vice Chairman also acknowledged the investment research proposals of BAF Agricultural Joint Stock Company.

The initial proposals are basically in line with the city's direction for developing high-tech agriculture, concentrated livestock farming, concentrated slaughter, deep processing, and developing linkage chains from production to consumption; contributing to ensuring food safety, environmental protection, and improving production efficiency in the city.

BAF Agricultural Joint Stock Company proposed a multi-story pig farming model in three communes in Hanoi.

In addition, to ensure that the research and investment proposals are consistent with the city's planning, development orientation, and legal regulations, the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, localities, and units to guide and support BAF Agricultural Joint Stock Company in completing the project proposal dossier.

Comprehensively review and assess the suitability of the high-tech livestock farming model in multi-story buildings, the concentrated slaughterhouse and food processing facility with sector planning, development orientation, technical infrastructure conditions, land use, environment, biosafety, and current legal regulations.

BAF Agricultural Joint Stock Company shall proactively coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and localities to review, supplement, and finalize the project proposal dossier.

This should focus on clarifying the investment plan, investment efficiency, applied technology, environmental protection solutions, food safety, biosafety, land use plan, technical infrastructure needs, and related contents, ensuring compliance with the city's planning, development orientation, and current legal regulations.

The city also requested the Department of Finance, based on the project proposal dossier, documents provided by BAF Agricultural Joint Stock Company, opinions from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and input from other relevant departments, agencies, and localities, to study and assess the feasibility, investment efficiency, and suitability of the proposals with the city's planning, development orientation, and current legal regulations.

The Department of Construction, the Department of Science and Technology, and the People's Committees of Bat Bat, Da Phuc, and Binh Minh communes shall proactively coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Finance, and relevant agencies in the process of studying, reviewing, and assessing the investment proposals of BAF Agricultural Joint Stock Company; promptly provide opinions on matters within their management fields, ensuring quality and progress as required by the city.
