In recent weeks, many details have emerged about the upcoming Redmi K90 Ultra, and now we have them. This phone is unique in some ways and lacks little to be considered a top-tier model.
Even a fan
The Redmi K90 Ultra is a very well-equipped new device, but the most interesting feature is the active cooling in the form of a fan on the back. According to the manufacturer, combined with other heat dissipation elements, it can reduce the temperature by 10°C. That's quite a lot, but it will only apply under load. Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which, while not the latest processor, still offers plenty of power and can generate heat.
Despite such features, the phone meets certifications such as IP69, so the small fan might also serve as a pump. The photographic setup is basic, but the main sensor has optical image stabilization. Stereo speakers are present, and the display supports a 165Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 3500 nits.
Another specification that is still not common concerns the battery. It offers a capacity of 8550 mAh and supports 100W charging. Wireless technology did not fit in this case. The Redmi K90 Ultra is priced at approximately 9,400 CZK excluding tax and fees. However, it is not clear if it will reach Europe. It might happen in a slightly modified version and under a different brand than Redmi.
