Space X officially listed on June 12 Eastern Time at $135 per share, becoming one of the most anticipated IPOs in the global capital market this year. Its first-day trading performance was impressive, closing at $160.95, up 19.22% from the offering price, indicating strong market optimism for the low-earth orbit satellite and space economy industries. As SpaceX's market value rises further after listing, the satellite communication supply chain is also attracting capital market attention. Institutions point out that the low-earth orbit satellite industry is gradually shifting from concept to commercialization. Whether it's user terminal equipment, ground receiving stations, communication modules, network equipment, or satellite components, related supply chains are expected to benefit from the expanding industry scale.

Starlink user growth and Starship reducing deployment costs: Taiwan's communication components and precision component supply chains are fully activated

Institutions indicate that with Starlink's growing user base and future Starship heavy rockets further lowering satellite deployment costs, the number of global low-earth orbit satellites and communication coverage is expected to continue rising, driving demand across the supply chain. From Taiwan's supply chain perspective, low-earth orbit satellite communication components are being supplied by San Dian (3491); PCB supply chains include Huatong (2313) and Yaohua (2367); network equipment manufacturers include Qiji (6285); RF transceiver modules are provided by Tongxin Electric (6271); and communication RF modules include Lai De Optoelectronics-KY (7717).

In terms of energy and power components, Yuanjing (6443) benefits from growing demand for satellite energy systems; satellite ground receiving stations and IPC equipment are handled by Shixin Ke (4916); and the precision components field includes Rongtian (7709) participating in the satellite industry chain. Institutions believe the low-earth orbit satellite industry is entering a long-term growth cycle. As the number of satellites increases and application scenarios expand, the supply chain from satellite manufacturing to ground equipment and terminal communication devices will benefit. Among them, San Dian (3491), Huatong (2313), Yaohua (2367), Qiji (6285), and Tongxin Electric (6271), which have actual shipping capabilities, will become market focus.

Focus on direct-to-cell and AI satellite new applications: Strengthening global communication resilience, Taiwan manufacturers share high-growth expansion dividends

The market is also paying attention to SpaceX's future Starlink Direct-to-Cell service and new applications like AI data center satellite communications. Institutions point out that driven by global demand for communication resilience and network construction in remote areas, the low-earth orbit satellite industry is still in the early stages of rapid growth. Related Taiwan manufacturers are expected to continue sharing the benefits of industry expansion.
