The Territorial Recruitment Center announces a search for violators of military registration. However, if the search was announced illegally, a citizen can challenge it. This was reported on the portal 'Yurysty.UA'.

The TCC has the right to put on the wanted list those liable for military service who have violated the rules of military registration or mobilization. First, an administrative penalty — a fine — is imposed on the violator. Only if the fine is not paid on time can the TCC declare the person wanted.

How to challenge the search

A citizen who was declared wanted allegedly for ignoring a summons they never received turned to lawyers.

Lawyer Vladyslav Deriy explained: it is necessary to send to the TCC that put them on the wanted list a request to close the case of an administrative offense due to the absence of an offense.

In case of refusal, you can appeal the TCC's inaction by filing a lawsuit with the district administrative court.

By the way, the search can apply to both those liable for military service and conscripts. After the search is announced, the personal file is transferred to the executive service, which can impose additional sanctions, including blocking accounts.

Mobilization in Ukraine — latest news

Recall that serious changes to the mobilization process are being prepared in Ukraine, as reported by the adviser to the Minister of Defense Serhiy Sternenko. According to him, it will no longer resemble what is happening now, in particular, it is planned to attract more foreigners. Sources in the Verkhovna Rada suggest that this involves deeper digitalization and more active use of electronic registers and coding for accounting of those liable for military service.

The Ministry of Defense plans to present its new developments in parliament soon, but changes are unlikely to affect notification in public places.

Also, on May 27, the Verkhovna Rada adopted bill No. 15015, which changes the rules for attracting foreigners to contract service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now they and stateless persons will be required to undergo military medical commissions (MMC).
