The current automotive market demands mobility solutions that go beyond traditional ownership, a trend that the automotive group Omoda & Jaecoo responds to with the launch of its new OJ Renting program.
Developed in collaboration with Arval España, this service seeks to consolidate the brand's presence in a market where private customers already account for 75% of its registrations, while simultaneously opening a competitive path for the 25% corresponding to the corporate channel.
The commercial proposal is structured under the "all-inclusive" concept, unifying in a single monthly payment essential operating costs such as comprehensive insurance, preventive and corrective maintenance, 24-hour roadside assistance, and future technical inspections (ITV).
By eliminating the need for an initial payment or down payment, the brand mitigates one of the main barriers to accessing a new vehicle, offering flexible contracts ranging from 30 to 60 months. At the end of the period, the user can choose to return, renew, or switch models, thus avoiding the uncertainty of depreciation.
In terms of product, the offensive stands out for covering its entire electrified range, with a strong focus on the DGT's ECO and Zero emissions labels. The entry point is the Omoda 5 SHS hybrid, available from €349 per month before taxes for a five-year, 10,000 km per year contract. In the same commercial format, the brand offers its purely electric mobility options with the Omoda 5 EV at €445 per month and the Jaecoo 5 EV at €482 per month, both excluding VAT.
For drivers who need the versatility of plug-in hybrid technology, the Asian firm proposes progressively scaled options. The Jaecoo 7 SHS is positioned at a monthly fee of €509, while the larger flagship models, the Omoda 7 SHS and the Omoda 9 SHS, are set at €544 and €624 per month respectively, excluding applicable taxes.
The catalog is completed with the Jaecoo 5 hybrid at €358 per month, and the 8 SHS plug-in hybrid, which closes the range at €639 per month, always under the same mileage and term conditions.
Beyond the private customer, OJ Renting focuses on corporate fleet management. The tool not only functions as a mechanism for tax optimization and fixed cost forecasting for companies but also acts as a support in the energy transition towards decarbonization.
The program includes specific consulting services for the deployment of charging infrastructure and efficient fleet optimization, a key factor for companies that must comply with new urban sustainability regulations.
